Our resident Mash Up Master knows old school, free style, funk, and RAP better then any other on the Rebel Music posse. We say he has been bang'n beats in the 831 since it was the 408. But there is something odd about this DJ because he knows more about music then his years add up to.
Johnny G is our resident Wax Master, and he mixes it up like he's cooking on those turntables. We are at a party and there's people there from 15 to 60. Some kid says,"you got any house music DJ?" and another lady chimes in "how about the Mama's & the Papa's?" ...You got California Dreaming?
Johnny G says, "Yes, I believe I do". Next thing you know we are listening to the Mama's and the Papa's mashed up with a little UBERZONE. That would be two records playing at the same time; California Dreaming lyrics blending nicely with the thump of the house beat.
He plays gansta sets, rock sets, house/trance sets, free style sets, hip hop sets and is always down for the mash up.
Johnny G is my right hand man. If you are having a party and you want someone to wow the crowd with vinyl tricks and beats for people 16-60. Look no further...the GigafunK is the answer.

DJ Rafiki ...the Rafa
Rebel Music has a new member, Rafael Villasenor aka DJ Rafiki. DJ Rafiki plays all kinds of beats, but is our resident "Popular Hip Hop Specialist". We count on our newest and youngest member to know who just released what in the world of "Popular Hip Hop" . He's on top of all the gangstar beats too, but if you ask us are you current on radio play? We say Rafiki will tell you what week it hit the charts! Rafiki is also our Reggaeton & Latin Flavor specialist.
Rafiki is a very talented DJ, we are very fortunate to have him and his international flavor on board. The rest of us Rebel DJ's count on him to bring the Latin Flavor to the party and he also speaks spanish. If you have birthday party or a Quinceanera, DJ Rafiki will be there. If we are lucky he'll let one of tag along too.
Requests in english or spanish no problem, 10 kids on em at once no problem, he's from a small family of 8...so nothing stresses this DJ out!
